Backstory: Fluttershy is probably the very definition of kindness. Shy and timid, never seeking trouble, she lives in her hut outside Ponyville, leading a modest life of an animal care. However, everything changes on the day when the griffins' plans of invading Equestria come out. Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash become a part of "Mirage" squadron, although Fluttershy initially detests the war under any meaning. Only after her animal friends are wounded by griffin ruffians, she begins to understand that war knows no mercy...

Despite good agility and air-to-air capability, Fluttershy usually resolves to supporting her teammates and not engaging an enemy directly. Should her friend become endangered, however, she will rush toward the foe and punish him for ever trying to lay a harm on her friends. Her most glaring weakness is a below average stamina, which may become a hindrance during prolonged battles and cause her to become an easy target for the enemies. In spite of all difficulties, there is more about Fluttershy than meets the eye.
